MIN 2/11/2010 – MATTERS ARISING FROM THE PREVIOUS MINUTES
The principal Mrs. Martha Muthengi reported to the members that, the school had implemented the programmes funded by TAS including Form 4 remedial teaching symposium, K.S.C.E EXAMS SAMPLE PAPERS AND TALK BY K.C.S.E Examiners.  She observed that the programme and impacted positively on the performance of the candidates class.  She reported that there are clear indications of a likely improvement on last year’s performance.
The principal also reported that, the school had received the laboratory equipment donated through TAS and whole heartedly thanked her for the equipment.
It was observed that the proposed trip had not taken place.  Gill Marshall reported to the members that the trip had not been funded because the TAS meeting in Uk had not been convened.  She reported that the meeting will take place in October, 2010 and hoped the trip will be funded though she regretted that the current form 4 class would miss the opportunity.
The principal reported to the members that the current solar installation in the school was serving the school well and the problem of lighting had greatly been solved.
MIN 3/11/9/2010 – TAPPING ELECTRICITY IN THE SCHOOL
The members observed that there was need to drop electricity in the school.  This involved drawing electricity from the transformer located in the school compound and supplying it to the administration block in the school.  This only requires simple wiring to support the existing one.  Gill Marshall Andrews advised the secretary of UGSST to write a letter to TAS to facilitate re-allocation of part of generator funds to be used to finance the simple wiring.  In addition she advised the school trust to avail the agreement signed between the school trust and the electrician detailing the extend of the work. The secretary to keep the copy of the agreement.

MIN 4/11/9/2010 – TAS SPONSORED TEACHERS
The members felt that numbers of teachers sponsored by TAS be reduced to 2 from 3 and the funds meant for the third teacher be re-allocatd to other projects.  It was suggested that the money be used to buy a printing machine for the school.  Gill Marshall advised the trust members to put forward a proposal in writing requesting the diversion of the funds for the approval.

MIN 5/11/9/201 ACADEMIC TRIP
The members emphasized the need to expose the students through academic trips.  A request and proposal for the academic trip was presented and Gill Marshall promising the trip will be considered when the next meeting will be convened in UK in October 2010.
MIN 6/11/9/2010
There being no other business the meeting ended at around 12.00noon with a ward of prayer said by Mrs. Kamalwa Ngundo
