School update

The school compound looked clean and well cared for.

The TV was on in the big banda and children were enthusiastically watching a wildlife DVD.

More DVDs are needed.

The teachers say Ikathima is an ‘oasis in the desert’.

The school is well prepared for the laptop programme when it finally starts.

333 students on roll.  This is an increase of 26 since last term.  The school is building a good reputation.

Proposals for funding

The classroom re-build will be considered again in November at TAS’ next meeting.

Proposals for trips and curriculum resources will be developed.
