Minutes from Trustees Meeting
19/04/2016

Present:

Minutes:
Notes of a meeting on 19 April at Green Park School Present:  Kate Fjastad, Roslyn Wootton, Stanley Amukoa, Cymon Israel, Gill Marshall-Andrews
Recent trip to Lake BogoriaThe trip was greatly enjoyed by the children and accompanying staff. However there were some planning issues that arose. The number of children attending was fewer than had been expected so one of the buses was redundant.  Also, the report following the trip was delayed and did not address matters such as what the children learnt. It was agreed that future trips would be better planned.
Computer classes

There are now 6 working computers and 2 that are not working.Cymon now runs 4 classes per day and these are compulsory for all staff at the hotel!  There are also computer classes on Saturdays for primary children attending Loldia Primary school.
After School and Holiday Activities
Cymon runs sessions in the library and computer room and on the field during weekends and holidays.  He has been on contract with the Hotel for 2 years now and it is hoped that his post will shortly become permanent.
Available funds in TAS trust account 288,000/-
Future projects might include a party for the children, more trips and maybe some support to set up a cyber cafe to provide internet access.

The school looked in generally good shape and was clean and tidy.  As the meeting ended there was a deluge and it became clear that the gutters did not all connect to the tanks.
