IV/27/2/2017 WRITTEN SCHOOL PROPOSAL
FOR FUNING CONSIDERATION
a) TAS
partner agreed to try and source money to
build 2 classrooms within the school as from February 2017.
b) The
proposal for textbooks which was written and sent to the coordinator earlier on
was to be revised since TAS chairperson told the meeting that the school had
received 72 copies from a well wisher, who had bought them for the school as from
standard 5 to standard 8, thus reducing the number of textbooks needed by the
school. So the Kaseluni Local trust was left to revisit the proposal budget and
forward the same to TAS for funding consideration.
c) Park
visit (conservation in Meru Park)
The school to develop a proposal for exposure tour
to Meru National Park. In preparation, the school to register pupils with Kenya
Wildlife Club to be members of the club for membership and this will give the
school cheap park entry – action person ;school headteacher..
d) Furniture
proposal for the school did not go through because the number of desks was a
bit high compared to the need of the school at the time- term I 2017.
Therefore, Kaseluni Local Trust had to reduce the number of furniture needed by
the school.
e) The
budget of Education Day proposal was approved by the trustee held on 27/1/2017.
What was needed to mention was the material day for the occasion and funding of
the occasion.
f) Feeding
program- TAS secretary advised the trustees that they do not fund for feeding
programs within the school that the head teacher had requested for.
A.O.B ENTERTAINMENT

visitors’ team were overwhelmed when they were entertained by the school pupils
