ECD has 23 children.

There are 3 TSC teachers and one ECD teacher.

Parents don’t pay for anything!  Education is not highly valued in this area.

There is a regulation computer cupboard prepared to take the tablets when they arrive.  The HT expects to go for training soon but there may be another delay due to the election being re-run.

The classrooms were dirty with lots of boxes, broken desks and sand being stored there.

Proposals for funding:

TAS is about to transfer 44,000/- for an Education Day to try to raise awareness of the importance of education.

Other projects HT will get quotes for:

Kitchen/store.  There is a jiko but no proper kitchen and no storage space.

Shelves for books and materials – everything is on the floor or in broken boxes.

Fencing – HT said “ the camel people come in and break stuff”
