Note of a meeting at Kora Secondary School on 28 January 2019

Present:
Mwaina Victor Muli, Principal, Ismail Fodho Solola, Chair of BOM, Stephen Kameti TAS/KWS co-ordinator, Gill Marshall-Andrews TAS Secretary.
School update:
The Education Day was a huge suggests and has resulted in significant enrollment.
Form 1 - 25, Form 2- 31, Form 3- 9, Form 4- 19.
There are 4 TSC teachers and 4 BOM teachers. They are missing teachers for Swahili, Agriculture and Religious Studies.
The school has moved out of the Asako Primary School compound into 2 new classrooms paid for by Min of Education. Parents have constructed 2 shacks and 2 latrines. CDF is due to construct 2 more classrooms.desks The Ministry has also given 6 m KES for a science lab.
There is an urgent need for a kitchen and some desks. Also in due course a fence, dormitories, an administration area, staff accommodation etc.
There is water piped to the school from the village supply.
 GMA presented the TAS Child Protection Policy which was disccussed.  All members of staff will sign the Code of Conduct and SK will collect the signed forms.
