School update:

The school has been facing a good deal of upheaval since October 2021 when parents started taking their children out of school due to the behaviour of the Principal.

The Ministry of Education and MP have been involved in various meetings trying to defuse the situation but the parents were adamant they wanted the Principal to be transferred.

The Principal stayed away for a while and the children began to come back but then she returned and they left again.

Since January only Form 4 students have been in school studying for their KCSE leaving exam.

The Board of Management were on strike so the school was pretty much paralysed as the Principal was the only person with access to the school fund.

She has now been formally transferred but it appears she cleaned out the school fund before she left.

The new Principal has been appointed and will take up post shortly.

Stephen will visit on a regular basis to monitor the situation and offer what support he can.

The school expects the students to return at the start of the new school year in April.  70+ are expexted.
