School update:The school looked in very good order. A new banda had been erected by the Friends of Green Park who also gave the children a small party before Christmas.There are only 16 children on roll at present but that is expected to rise in the coming weeks.The hotel still provides lunches and maintains the building.It also provides transport to Loldia Primary School for around 45 children from the camp who attend there.
TAS updateGMA confirmed that TAS is winding down over the next 12 months so the remaining funds should be spent and the bank account closed this year.KF will consult over the use of the funds - around KES 75k . Another trip would be very popular!
Post meeting note:: Njenga the GRVL manager is aware of the TAS situation and has expressed gratitude for our support for the school over 16 years!
