Gill Marshall-Andrews

School update:

There are 152 students on roll  - 99 boys and 51 girls

Form 1   16 boys, 5 girls

Form 2   27 boys , 17 girls

Form 3   29 boys, 18 girls

Form 4   21 boys, 11 girls

Boarders – 14 girls and 13 boys.  This is well below capacity and reflects the low Form 1 intake this year.  There is a decline in students from Garissa /Madogo since the previous headteacher Rosaniah was transferred.  She was previously at Madogo and brought some of the students with her.

A marketing video was discussed.

The 2023 KCSE was much lower than the previous year  -2.9  down from 3.4 in 2022.

The school has 8 TSC teachers and one BOM.  Maths and Physics is missing.

Projects for funding:

Photocopier, solar batteries,  water tanks, latrines.
