School update:

There are now 66 students (only 10 girls) on roll including 12 in Junior Secondary.

There are 7 TSC teachers plus 1 for PP 1 and 2.  This means that the teacher pupil ration is very low and explains the good exam results.  The 2023 Mean Score was 214   which is good for that region.

The school receives food from the government.

Water – the borehole is yielding water for cooking, washing and irrigation but is still not potable.  During the long holidays the fence was broken by local people who wanted to gain access to the water.  There was considerable wastage of water as the pump was left on and the water kept flowing.  The HT agreed the fence will be mended as a priority and the water usage regulated.

Drinking water should be collected from the roofs and stored for drinking.

The goat project to encourage students in school and attend regularly has been a success.  The HT wishes to continue it.
