| Camara ICT project in 3 remote secondary schools

An ambitious project to create 3 IT hubs in 3 remote secondary schools is under way. Camara - an Irish NGO has been funded by TAS to install community IT facilities in Madogo, Mivukoni and Usueni Secondary Schools.The first stage is the training of 5 teachers from each school, the second stage is installation and the third is ongoing training, support and maintenance.This is a pilot project to see if facilities like this can be sustained in remote, dry and dusty areas. A lot will depend on the promised improvement in network coverage. |
