| Kalumu girls dormitory completed

The new dormitory for girls at Kalumu is completed and in immediate use. Bunk beds have been purchased and 40 girls are now in residence! The boys are very envious - indeed they have converted a classroom into a temporary dormitory for themselves - sleeping in it by night and bringing the desks back in the morning to return it to a classroom. With solar power providing light this means the students have much more opportunity for homework and learning in the evenings and weekends. |
