On 14 January a group of TAS trustees and donors set out on a 4 day visit to 6 schools we support in the Mwingi / Kora area. The trip was all arranged by KWS and started with a flight to Boka. There we saw the new fence, solar power and the girls dormitory among other TAS funded projects.
Next day we took to the road and over the next 3 days visited Mivukoni, Ikathima, Kalumu and Usueni schools. We received a very warm welcome wherever we went and were delighted to see how the funds we have sent are really making a difference. More dormitories and bandas, renovated classrooms, libraries, additional teachers, fencing, tree planting,solar power, TVs and DVDs were all in evidence. It was an inspiring experience for all of us.
