| Ikathima children visit Hells Gate National Park

Children from Ikathima Primary School visited Hells Gate National Park last week - a real adventure for many who had never been outside their village. TAS has funded a large number of educational trips for primary and secondary school students. Usually these involve visiting at least one National Park and a major town - Nairobi or Mombasa. The young people get a great deal from these visits - raising aspirations and motivation, learning about different ecologies and species, meeting children from other schools. |
