| El Rar is latest addition to the TAS family of schools

El Rar Primary School is a genuine community school that parents have struggled to start up and maintain. The government has now built 5 classrooms of variable quality but there are no latrines, no desks, no chairs, no blackboard, no kitchen, no staff room, no dormitories, no fence, no running water and very few teaching materials. So there is much to be done! Water is a constant struggle and although there are some tanks they are not connected to gutters!This community is really keen to improve their school and will make good use of any investment by TAS or anyone else. |
