| Loldia's dust bowl playing field turns green.

At last the 2000 children at Loldia Primary School can see the dust bowl that used to be their playing field is beginning to turn green. The school and community had cleaned up the field and planted grass and were then waiting for the rain - which has now arrived. The effect is immediate and the whole area looks green. It is greatly to be hoped that the school will ensure that no animals are ever allowed to stray onto the area for grazing. This would be extremely damaging to the fragile grass surface.
