Jarajara plants 1000 trees with help from NYS.
10/10/2019
Recruits from the National Youth Service have planted over 1000 trees in the compound of Jarajara Primary School. With assistance from the students, these seedlings have been planted in blocks and are protected from animals by rough fences of sticks and branches. The NYS will water the trees over the long Christmas break until the students return in January. Its a huge achievement and establishes Jarajara well and truly as a Forest School. |
