| Eburru rainwater tank under construction

The Eburru School rainwater collection tank and guttering system is under construction and is expected to be completed by Easter. This is a very large tank which should provide for all the needs of the school throughout the year - given reasonable rains in April and May. There has been unexectedly consistent rainfall from the beginning of November until mid January and it has been frustrating that this could not be captured, but all that will change when the tank is completed. There will be water for drinking, cooking, washing and cleaning which will transform life for the students and staff. A big thank you to all the contributors to this project. |
