Desks and teachers arrive in Asako 91 desks funded by TAS have arrived in Asako and children no longer have to sit on the floor in class. A small but significant step forward for the 212 children enrolled in this very poor and remote school. Also recently arrived are 2 female teachers funded by TAS. Students, especially girls, are delighted to have female teachers on the staff are there has been a noticable rise in the attendance of girls in school. |
