Eburru Secondary School is alight! At last power has come to the village and now the school has light in every classroom. This means that pupils can study in the evenings and in future there may be adult classes too.
It also means that the school's 3 computers supplied by TAS via Computer Aid International are up and running. Lily Blessing the Chair of the Board of Governors has a nephew who is a whizz with computers and he has kindly serviced and set them up. So what they need now is CDs of curriculum resources.
Lily is also involved in a government initiative of 'digital villages' and it is hoped that Eburru may be able to participate.
When things begin to move they really do move!
