Lily Blessing, the Chair of the Board of Governors, is delighted with the progress of the school and indicated at a recent trust meeting that the school has been nominated as 'the most improved school in the district'. The evidence for this is that the school is now oversubscribed and needing to expand to two forms of entry.
This is exciting and challenging. The government does not pay for new buildings so the school has to find a way to fund them. This is where the Eburru Trust comes in. The Trust has applied to TAS for funding for a consultant to undertake a development plan for the school, in partucular to identify where new buildings might be built and how much they are likely to cost.
When this report is finished we will have an idea of the size of the task ahead.
