Building works started in Madogo

This week work has started on the building of 2 new classrooms at Madogo Secondary School. These are expected to be finished by the start of the term in January when the new intake arrives.

Also in train is the re-furbishment of the boys dormitory which was damaged by fire in the summer.

This first phase development has been funded jointly by TAS and the local MP Dr Nur Nassir who has contributed 45% of the total cost.

It is hoped that further major projects can be jointly funded in this way.
