In July, three teachers from Waldegrave School in Richmond upon Thames, Caroline Croll (English Teacher), Nicole Davies (Design and Technology) and Nicole Bechirian (Science Teacher), were warmly greeted by Madogo Headteacher, Mr Ng’ang’a, his staff and students as part of a teacher exchange funded by the British Council, TAS and Waldegrave. They were delighted to meet up with Mr Otiende and Mrs Rosaniah Gwiyo, who visited England in May, and to make so many new friends on the Madogo School staff. Both schools look forward to working closely together: a Partnership Agreement has been signed by both Head Teachers and a three year action plan has been agreed by teachers from both schools. The future looks bright!
