| Bandas for Mivukoni

The students of Mivukoni Secondary School designed a modern version of the traditional 'banda' and put in a proposal for funding 10 of these buildings. TAS agreed and the bandas are now constructed. They look wonderful and are very cost effective! They will provide shade and facilities for small group work, homework, reading and eating. In due course they will become part of a new library area encouraging students to read for pleasure. |
