Together We Can!
27/06/2010

Together We Can is the strap line for the winning logo for the partnership between Waldegrave School for Girls in Twickenham and Madogo Secondary School in Garissa.  These two schools received funding in 2008/09, under DfID's Global Schools Partnership Scheme, for reciprocal visits of teachers.  The purpose of the visits was to establish a mutually beneficial partnership between the schools and to plan for joint curriculum projects.

One of the early projects was to develop a logo for the partnership with the winning design being used to publicise the link. The winning desing was the work of a Madogo student.  It incorporates Madogo's camel and Waldegrave's swan.

An application has been made to DfID for Phase 2 funding to enable the partnership to develop further.
