At last Eburru School looks set to get its football pitch. For 6 years the school has had to use a rough football pitch belonging to the local primary school but very soon they will have a proper facility of their own.
This is being contributed by Ken Gen, the local power company that has just started generating geo thermal energy at Eburru. Ken Gen are now represented on the school Board of Governors and have committed to make a contribution to the continued improvement of the school. As TAS moves out of the picture - we are beginning to shift our resources to the local primary school - so local business looks set to take up the slack. This is exactly what we hoped for when we started the Eburru Secondary School Trust nearly 6 years ago.
